Nov. 25th, 2004 04:35 pmA very good friend of mine,
rainbeauman is now on Live Journal. Please "friend" him. He is also known as Dragonflymoon. Most of the locals know him as my "other". He is a BS Dedicant and a covenmate in Brothers of the Key.
rainbeauman and I were National C-Second Officers, Covenant of the Goddess in 2002.

Reading the Sunday papers and reading the news on CNN's website I was struck by a recurring thought I 've had since I was a kid prowling the streets of Brooklyn, New York.
We produce a wide range of goods and services in this country and in the industrialized world. We have access to the finest minds on the planet. I am mystified, for example, that we cannot produce a subway system in NYC that does not make everyone deaf (over time) caused by the screeching of metal on metal. Or why we allow automobiles and trucks to produce and release so much pollution into the atmosphere.
Put concisely, why don't we design products in a manner that helps the world population live more in harmony with nature. Please don't tell me its the profit motive of business executive like the asshat VP currently in office. That is too easy an answer.
I know that my blood plasma has not yet been fully replaced by coffee yet, so I haven't expressed this so well. But, I would be willing to contact my elected representatives and ask them THE question if we could articulate it properly.
Please have at it, whatcha think?

I Am So Amused By This
Nov. 13th, 2004 08:29 am"If there is someone on your friends list who you would either like to tie down and have your way with, teasing them mercilessly and making them beg for release, or have them tie YOU down, post this exact same sentence in your journal."
So far, it appears that no one has confessed a secret love or lust. Sure, we all know someone that we lust for. But, if you ever hope to see him/her/them again you sure as hell wouldn't mention it here.

![]() You're energetic, althletic, and totally hyperactive. You love playing sports and being in the middle of all of the action. You're independent, corageous, and brave. Unafraid to do things your way. Mars can be reckless, quick tempered, and a little too spontaneous. So think before you act - and resist your natural urges to dominate others. |

Nov. 12th, 2004 05:08 amThis is a problem with LJ: there is an illusion of intimacy, but in actuality we may know nothing about each other. This meme might help. If you like, ask me something (more than question if that is what comes to mind) you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.
You may also post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

20 preacher curls with 40 pounds
20 minutes on the elliptical trainer, heart rate peaked at 153bpm. HR target at my age/weight is 130bpm.
10 preacher curls with 55 pounds.
Stretches for back, hamstrings and quads
Treadmill for 10 minutes to cool down. Started at 3.0mph, decreased to 2.5mph.
Shower and back to work (after getting dressed)
Time 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Again, please feel free to offer any suggestions for a better/more productive workout. I am stalled around 170. I am getting tighter everywhere, my clothes fit much better without cutting off circulation, but, I want to lose some weight.

Bill's Travels, Way Up North
Oct. 20th, 2004 07:21 pmHi Everyone,
I am in Bemidji, MN this evening. Tomorrow morning I have a meeting in Grygla and then race home. Its been a good trip meeting some of our clients up north.
Fortunately, I am staying in the Hampton Inn, a high-end motel. Because of my schedule today, my first meal was dinner and I was famished. Tomorrow morning will be busy and then I will get the hell outta Dodge.
Yankees better win tonight!
