I was in St. Cloud, MN last night, Brainerd, MN this evening and Bemidji tomorrow. Thursday, HOME!

Getting a lot in, busy as hell. Yankees better win tonight.

You know, there are some parts of being on the road that I like. I enjoy being in new places, the change of faces, the opportunity (sometimes) to experience something different.

Boy do I like getting home, though.

Yankee fans were very badly behaved last night

They had to finsh out the game with the NYPD lining the filed. Fans were throwing beer cans, hats and small children onto the field. NY fans are capable of morphing into a mindless mob when their dominance is challenged.

The interesting demographic tidbit that people outside NYC don't know is that the Yankees fans are a specific breed of New Yorker. The average Joe supports the Mets. Yankee fans are much more likely to be lawyers, marketing executives, financial analysts, brokers, and various other captains of industry. Those guys sure know how to party. I wonder how many of them were throwing their beer cans last night?

Well, then I'm happy - for your health - that none of your travels are taking you to the Boston area. People around here can get downright religious about the Red Sox.

Oh, and I've heard it reported that there's a homicide that the police think is related to the playoff games; a local Yankees fan evidently shot a local Sox fan. Yeesh, talk about a silly reason to get violent.
