Gakked and Gakked and Gakked Again

This is a problem with LJ: there is an illusion of intimacy, but in actuality we may know nothing about each other. This meme might help. If you like, ask me something (more than question if that is what comes to mind) you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

You may also post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

There are so many things I don't know about you. Simple things like... favorite food, color, beverage, what do you like best to do to relax? If you can had time to do anything what would it be? Do you worry about Pumpkin Girl finding her way through college and adult life? WHat is your biggest fear for her?

I should stop now. :)

I'll try to answer your questions. If there is something unanswered, you can always ask me.

I prefer Middle Eastern food above all else. Because I am allergic to peppers, I need the range of spices used in ME food to make eating enjoyable and fun.

I like a lot of colors. Blue and some shades of red are my favorites. Beverage, hmmmm. Alcoholic: Dry Sack Sherry and expensive Port are my favorites, although I infrequently use alchohol.

Reading is relaxing, so are computer puzzles. Honestly, I enjoy my job and often while relaxing and thinking about what I've been working on, I develop an idea to do it better.

If I had time to do anything I wanted to do I would spend a lot of time learning to turn wooden bowls and make heirloom boxes, you know, small boxes made with exotic wood.

Yes! I worry about PG finding her way through college and life. She's a good kid and we are trying to provide both structure and freedom; a tough balance, if it exists at all.

My biggest fear is that PG will not "get it." You know, the key to living in harmony with self, friends, and the world. Probably ungrounded, but there it is.

A question you didn't ask: what do I love most? Certainly my family. Friends, helping those I love in any way that I can, whether they know it or not. Recognition is not important. Knowing that someone I love is somehow made better or safer or helped in some way is enough.

Thank you for the opportunity to share.
